The Dog Star Gang was formed in Japan by Chien Khan to him summon the Oni Lord, Noi Tai Dar. When Khan;s plan fell through, he took the remians of the gang and moved to New York. His plan was to challenge Johnny Yen for supremacy in Chinatown. The gang was very successful at this, eventually forcing Yen into the open and allowing Chien to have a showdown with his former master. Unfortunately, the fighting that apparently destroyed Yen also claimed Chien Khan. So, the Dog Star Gang is currently leaderless. Whether they will choose a new leader or simply disband remains to be seen.
